Jon Gianulias

I’ve been on some of the best hunts in California. Shooting bear? No. I’ve been “tracking” shopping center owners and buyers. For thirty years I have thrived in helping clients do business in the retail arena in Northern CA and Nevada. We have executed over $2B, in over 275 transactions, each with a specific set of challenges.

I have a unique perspective on real estate gained as a partner in several shopping center ownership groups, including buying and selling a mall in Maui, Hawaii. I’ve led and teamed on new financing, refinancing, leasing, management, consulting, and downright brokering small and large deals -- it’s no wonder I’ve lost most of my hair.

We’re proud to start this new company in 2012. It’s what’s best for our clients and our team.

Why did we name our company Core Commercial? It’s simple and to the point. But our daily job isn’t simple, and our team focuses on the details. We welcome cooperating brokers in every listing. We have driven each center in those markets, and we know every property owner. Under our maps sections we give away data on 125 markets. We have some great clients and continue to do first class work for them with each opportunity. And if we aren’t the perfect fit for an assignment, we will partner or recommend the best brokers.

Our client's success is at the CORE of what we do.

On a personal note, I am currently a Board Director for the Greater Broadway (PBID) Partnership and have been since 2015. I am a member of Lambda Alpha; I was also a Board member of ACRE.org (2010-2015) and previously served on the Board of Metro Air Park (adjacent to Sacramento International Airport.) I’m also a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and played college baseball (ASU, Sacramento City & UC Santa Barbara – Business Economics 1990), and a one-year stint as a player/coach in Russia, Italy & Australia. I’ve been known to drum in a rock & roll band on occasion. My wife Nica works in property management and our two kids are grown & working in aspects of Commercial Real Estate.
